Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to transform education rapidly. This virtual workshop examines the various applications of AI in the PK-12 setting, the legal duty of care that must be exercised as AI increasingly becomes part of the PK-12 school experience, and policies and protocols that should be considered to properly address foreseeable legal issues. Participants will learn about new state and federal legislation addressing deepfakes and understand the obligations of school districts in implementing those new laws.

Implementing new state and federal laws related to AI and Deepfakes
Effective uses of AI by students, teachers and school leaders
Addressing the growing trend of AI use for Companionship and Counseling
