Hot Issues in Special Education Law: 2025-2026 (A TMI-NJPSA/LEGAL ONE Collaborative Workshop)

This session will include the latest legislation and guidance on determining the need for and extent of compensatory services for all students with disabilities.

• The key elements to consider including in IEPs moving forward;

• The supports that may be necessary for students;

• Lessons to be learned from recent case law;

• Key considerations related to disparities in identification and discipline rates for African American students;
